To Help the Homeless
Donate food, serve some grub, and give somebody some love.
Bring salvation,
And let them feel the dove of good fortune and fun,
Or at least an objective of which to overcome.
Tell them a story;
Inspire their life.
Give them food, for energy is life.
Give them the rest that leads to success,
Because in the end, when you’re tired an worn
You won’t look back with regret and scorn
The sensation of realization takes place; it’s all now worthwhile
The pain and the wait.
When you look back at the end of the day,
The look on their face as they realize their place in this world,
It’s a sight to behold –
And down in the deep dark depths of your soul,
You know you caused it.
